Summer hello!

Hey Everyone!


It's been awhile since I have posted anything and I am truly sorry for that! These past few months have been hectic and so many things have been going on! For starters, when you have 2 kids under the age of 4 years old, things can get pretty chaotic really quick! Another issue, is that sadly my husband has MS and has been home for the last few months because he has been in a middle of a relapse and he isn't getting any better . If you know of anyone who has this disease, it is heart-breaking and emotions run high all the time. It's hard to deal with at times when you have 2 small children and you don't know what the future holds or what it will be like one from day to the next. I just hope he will get better and can have better control of this awful disease but living life with MS is not easy and can be very trying. So much so when you and your spouse are in your thirties and wheelchair and a brace are needed to be used in case the disease gets so bad and out of control! *SIGH* He was just diagnosed 2 years ago with this and he is getting worse than staying stable and ok. Sorry, didn't mean to turn this into a sob story,  just wanted to share what has been going on with over here and needed to vent some. 


I will try to post as much and as often as I can because the sole purpose of this blog was to share, inspire and let you know in on some amazing parties and themes that people create everyday! I wish I could have done a 4th of July showcase to show you some ideas but I have 2 birthday parties to plan in the up coming future and I will share what I have in store! 


If I don't blog, at least you will see that I will share and post things on facebook to let you in on some incredible things that people create and come up with! :)

So what’s new?

 I am still in the planning stages for my daughter’s upcoming Easter party and still trying to figure all the fun details. Along with doing that I have been helping a dear and sweet friend who is getting married this year and as always I am on a quest to find unique and one of kind things, ideas, and decor out there and byGeorge I did!! As anyone knows planning a wedding and trying to find even the littles details can be time consuming but so much fun and when you stumble upon a cool and great idea, you may have to snap it up for yourself!  Look at what I found!

How cool and unique are these?! They would be great gifts for the bride to be, groom to be, baby gift, the list can go on and on!! The possibilities are endless!

I just love this awesome idea! I am seriously considering using it for  my daughters 1st birthday celebration and I just may! I am already in the planning stages for her birthday believe it or not! Sweet Vintage Pink Bunny Christening!

 Last weekend I had my 5 month old baby girl baptized and it turned out just beautiful! I wanted to share how it turned out and who I had the absolutely pleasure of helping me create a memorable and special occasion! I worked with several wonderful women who made all the small details count and really matter!

The Invitation

I asked my sweet friend  Kori from Paper & Pigtails to help me design a one of a kind sweet vintage pink invitation with polka dots, damask, a bunny and cross on it! I also asked if we could do a wrought-iron scroll border around it and this is what she designed! It was absolutely beautiful and EXACTLY what I had wanted!!! Isn't it pretty?!? The printables she did to match were just as darling and beautiful!

The Gown

I found this gorgeous gown at: www. PinkPrincess.com and it was absolutely beautiful! If you need a christening gown or know of anyone who needs one I highly recommend this site!! Great finds for sure!

The Reception

 I wanted my daughter's baptism's theme to have a light pink vintage feel with touches of polka dots, damasks and a sweet bunny throughout the theme. The main color scheme was light pink, creams, and touches of silver. The decor was very minimal because it was at this gorgeous hotel and I wanted to do something small. I wanted the feel of the theme to be a vinatge pink with a small french flair to it. So I decided that the food would have a french theme to it was well!  It was very simple but very sweet!

                  The Result!

I was originally going to have alot of desserts on the table but since I had gone for a "french theme for the menu" there was a buffet style table as well as a table full of mini french pastries! There would have been way too many desserts and sweets!I wanted the people to eat up the cookies, donut bites, chocolate covered oreos and the cake as well even though it was soo pretty to cut into! So, I kept it sweet and simple!

Working with all these women was such a sweet and enjoyable experience! Everyone went out of their way to help me and create something to beautiful for this special occasion! I would like to thank each and everyone of you who made all this possible and for giving me great memories to remember! The desserts were just wonderful, the decor and accessories added that extra special touch, the favors were just perfect, the hair accessories added that much needed sparkle and glimmer and the photography was just beautiful and a true keepsake! Thank you again to all of you who helped me with Adriana’s Baptism, it was a real special day! I really appreciate all your help and enjoyed working with you all!
