Sweet Valentine's day party!

Happy Valentine's day! So, this past Saturday I threw a small Valentine's day party for my daughter and her friends and it was a blast and so much fun! There's nothing like seeing your daughter so happy and having a good time at her party! Well worth it! I decided to do a "Tweet heart" Valentine themed party with lots of sweet touches throughout.

Here is how the little "tweet heart" party turned out!

I decided to try to keep this little party simple and just make it as sweet as I could!
I decorated the tables with little mail boxes full of treats, pails with treats, and a beautiful floral arrangement to show how sweet that little table could be! I also added little hearts with ribbon to the backs of each little girls chair!
Here is a side view of what the table looked like!
An another one!
This flower arrangement was just beautiful and perfect as the centerpiece!
Little mail boxes for the girls to take with them and as a special touch I bought the printables from Paper & Pigtails! It added a nice little touch!
Each little girl was greeted with  a personalized tent card and prizes so they knew where to sit!
They each got little pails filled with lots of sweet treats of course!
                                                            Another picture of the table!
I found this sweet table runner at Hobby Lobby! How lucky was I?!
I made these pinwheels planters as the centerpieces for the dessert table
Marshmallow pops with sparkly sugars! So much fun to make!
Here are another set of marshmallow pops with chocolate coating and Valentine sprinkles! They were yummy and a hit at the dessert table! The parents were even eating these up!
Here is the dessert table, I tried to keep it simple but sweet at the same time! We had marshmallow pops, cupcakes, heart cakes in chocolate and strawberry flavors, chocolate heart cookies, and heart cake to seal the deal!
My attempt to decorate a cake! I tried to make a heart shape and decorated the cake with M&M's, not my finest work but figured the kids would still like it anyways!
Sweet chocolate and strawberry heart cakes! They were also a hit at the party!
I added some felt heart to the dessert table to give that extra "sweet" feel to it!
I found this sparkly curtain backdrop at Hobby Lobby and thought it added a nice touch along with the Happy Valentine's Day banner! We also hung bright happy heart throughout to embrace the theme of the party!

I really only had 2 days to pull this all together because my daughter has been so sick! I wasn't sure that I was going to be able to do the party but in the end I think I did an ok job and everything turned out sweet!! I went a little simple this time but I think I did capture the true Valentine's day spirit! We all had a blast and enjoyed this sweet little party but what I loved the most was seeing my daughter's excitement and seeing what a good time she was having with her friends!

Happy Valentine's day and hope you all have a day filled with lots of love and may your day be extra sweet today!
