Little Bewitching Halloween Party!

I decided to do a fun Halloween party for my daughter and her friends early since this was the ONLY time to do it because we had birthday parties scheduled, fall festivities, out of town commitments, well you get the idea! So, I decided to do a small bewitching party and just do something that I knew my daughter and her friends would have a great time with!

Here is the small no fuss and fun little party we had! :)

All the fondant toppers and amazing creations were made by the FABULOUS Brittany from Editable Details! :) The brooms and the witch's feet were my favorites! :)

The Tutu Dress was my daughter's when she was 2 years old and I loved it so much it NEEDED to be a part of the party decor! :)

Beautiful Headband from Perfect Petal Boutique!
Cutest little Witch Hat Headband from Amy from Enchantedly Yours.

These adorable tops were given by the sweet and wonderful Michelle from Sweet Mady {Paper + Gifts}

So, as you can see all the girls had a great time! I did something small and simple for once :) but still loved how it all came together!

Ribbons and Bows 1st Birthday Party!

I am so excited to share this party with you all finally! :)

We recently celebrated my daughter’s 1st birthday! After changing my mind
several times and settling on a theme, I finally decided to go with a
“Ribbons and Bows” theme because it seemed like a really sweet theme
and also because it incorporated  something frilly, girly, fun, and
exactly what little girls are!
I wanted the color scheme to be soft in pastel colors but wanted to
add some vintage flair to the  theme. The colors we chose were the
soft pinks, soft turquoises and touches of yellow. A sweet color
combination to say the least!

The invitation and the theme became realized when my sweet friend Kori
from Paper & Pigtails helped me design and come with a sweet and
girly invitation. She made the invitation so sweet and cute and used
bows, tassles, and bunting to give it a taste of girly and sweet!

Here is how it turned out!

We did the party in the afternoon and it was just perfect and so sweet! I will let you look at LOTS of photos to see all the wonderful things that made this party so pretty and special and will give you all the details below! Enjoy!

I love this shot of the rock candy!

Awesome banner made from the purple pug! LOVE IT!

Is this not the cutest duckie pull toy?!?! Editable Details made this amazing 3D topper that I used as decor instead!

Since Adri won't sit still long enough for pictures I decided that her outfit would look great as part of the decor! :)

Our GORGEOUS cake was made by Cupcake Couture!

LOVE these polka dot bunting banners!

These cookie favors were made by the wonderful The Cookie Jar!

Another beautiful banner that the purple pug created for the party!
I decided that donuts needed to be decorated too and we dressed them up with the beautiful toppers that Editable Details made for us! Don't they look snazzy??! :)

These popcorn boxes were the perfect snack cup size and they were a BIG hit! Thank you Kori!! :)

Here are the party details!
We did the party in the middle of the afternoon so we went with finger
sandwiches, donuts, pop corn, and lots of sweet desserts of course! We
placed the donuts, powdered donuts and the cupcakes, in pretty snack
cups, berry baskets from Shop Sweet Lulu. We also had sweet cookies
from The Cookie Jar that tied in beautifully with our theme and we had
some amazing fondant toppers made by Brittany from Editable Details!
We decided to come up with sweet little toppers and she also made the
most adorable little duckie pull toy pulling a number 1 to decorate
our table! What she made really dressed up alot of our dessert items
such as cupcakes and our donuts! We decided that donuts could use a
little decor themselves so we dressed them and they looked absolutely
adorable! We had assorted candy such as sixlets, rock candy and
gumballs that were in our themed colors. Our gorgeous cake was made by
Cupcake Couture and it couldn’t have turned out more perfect and so
fitting for our theme! We decided to go with 2 two-tier ruffled cake
to mimic the ruffles of little girls pettiskirts and dresses and
decided to add a bow for that extra sweetness! It was just dreamy and
so pretty! Our cupcakes came from Cupcake Couture as well as the
adorable little smash cake! I saw a posting that Rosie from
Sweetapolita, she made a sweet little cake for her daughter and I
loved it so much that knew that was what I wanted my daughter to have
as “her” smash cake! Thank you Rosie for the inspiration! We changed
up the design to fit our theme and turned out just too cute!  The
dessert table looked so quaint, whimsical, sweet and girly! The look
we were hoping to achieve!
For the DECOR we decided to add some vintage flair to it! I enlisted
the help from the wonderful and sweet Carolyn from Sweet Tea and
Linen, she made burlap runners with ribbons going down across the
runners to give it that mix between the sweetness of the ribbons and
the look of vintage. They turned out just perfect and really added so
much to our tables! We had our candy displayed in varying apothecary
jars and also we got this vintage yellow tray from Kara’s Party Ideas
that displayed our eye catching blue rock candy! Of course how could
we not have banners with a touch of glitter and sparkle? Kristy from
the purple pug made these amazing banners with the right touch and
amount and glitter and they added to much to our tables!   They turned
out just perfect and had the lovely combination of girly, sparkle,
sweetness, and vintage! We also got a vintage looking bunting banner
from Starlit Nest Gifts and Photo Props that we used to hang our over
the year gallery on! It looked so sweet and just right for what we
wanted to accomplish! I found some adorable little mini suitcases that
we displayed our bow shaped cookie favors from Polka Dot Market, they
were looked so sweet on our tables and also held the utensils from
Shop Sweet Lulu! We also bought our polka dot balloons from Polka Dot
Market as well as some polka dot bunting banners that we hung above
the children’s table! The best little decor that we bought from Polka
Dot Market were this sweet little pedestals that we used and placed
cupcakes throughout our dessert table. They looked so sweet and added
a touch of color!  We found this really cool antique looking
candelabra that we displayed our cupcakes on and we found this cool
looking window at an antique store that we hung above the dessert
tables with poms from Pom Flair and also some lace umbrellas or
parasols that I found on Chasing Fireflies! It looked so quaint and so
sweet when put all together! I also had a dress form with an adorable
top that I had made for my daughter from Oh Fiddlesticks! Melissa
designed the sweetest and cutest 1st birthday top! It had all the
elements that tied into our theme! I decided to to use it as part of
the decor because it was so cute and I didn’t want my daughter to ruin
it!  I made a rosette decorated initial to add to the decor as well as
this ferris wheel that had some of the powdered donuts on each “swing”
We really tried to make this as frilly, girly, sweet, and vintage as
we possible could and I think we accomplished that!
For party favors we gave out bow shaped cookies that came form the
wonderful The Cookie Jar! We also gave out each little guest  a box
with either a sweet vintage looking headband or a bow tie that Amy
from Enchantedly Yours made for us and they couldn’t have turned out
more perfect!
This party turned out as sweet as I imagined it! I know my daughter
couldn’t appreciate it but hopefully when she’s older and see pictures
of her 1st birthday party she will love it as much as I did!
We had Amy Craft  Photography capture all of these amazing and sweet
images that will serve as true keepsakes and will let remember what a
fun party it was!

I want to say a BIG THANK YOU to the following sweet people who helped me make this party pretty! Kori for creating beautiful and lovely printables, Kristy for the amazing banners, Carolyn for the lovely table runners, Brittany for creating amazing toppers to to decorate the desserts with, Melissa for helping me design the perfect top, Lisa and Ira for the sweet and pretty cookies and Amy for taking amazing and beautiful pictures!
